Don't let a medical condition keep you grounded.
If you are too ill to travel on a commercial flight, North Flight can safely take you where you need to go – wherever that is.*
- Fly with a skilled, experienced nurse and paramedic in a King Air B200
- A family member may fly with you at no extra cost
- Fly home for recovery or rehab
- We will coordinate your ground transportation
North Flight owns and operates a King Air B200 and has an experienced team of pilots, as well as a dedicated flight communications center available 24/7. All crew members are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), pediatric (PALS), neonatal (NRP), and trauma care (various nationally recognized trauma certifications). All pilots have experience that well exceeds FAA standards. North Flight has been accredited for critical care air transportation by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS) since 1995.
As part of this service, North Flight will coordinate every aspect of the transport, including air and ground transportation and communication with the appropriate referring/receiving facilities. Care provided during transport is documented and will be provided to the receiving facility.
Medical charter flights are by their nature not an emergency, and are not often paid for by insurance. Prices will be determined, and payment is required, prior to the flight.
